WALEED KHALIL
Managing Partner
Waleed Khalil is an engineer, enerpreneur and venture capitalist. He is the Founder and Managing Partner of DEN Venture Capital.
As an engineer, Waleed spent a great deal of his career in manufacturing consumer electronics products.
Waleed was a Partner in Endure Capital since 2016 untill the end if H1-2022. In few years, Endure became one of the exceptional VC performers in several regions of the world and in several verticals.
Throughout this period, Endure did some early investments in companies like Boom Supersonic, Aspect Biosystems in North America, Neuman in the UK, Maxab, Mawdoo3, and Breadfast in the MENA region.
Waleed holds a bachelor degree in engineering from Cairo University, and an MBA in finance from the American University in Cairo.
Amira Swilam
Fund Operations Manager
Amira has worked in different acceleration and incubation programs in Egypt to manage the programs and business partnerships at 17 Goals program with United Nations in Egypt, and Startup Reactor program at Cultiv. She also has worked on designing and developing mega-events in Egypt and Abu Dhabi like Egypt Career Summit, TIP UAE, and Freelance Job Fair. She was a Co-founder and business Strategist at Freelance Yard, where she supported 10k+ freelancers and entrepreneurs through training sessions and events’ content plans. She holds an MBA degree in marketing management from the University of Pennsylvania, and obtained Venture Capital Diploma from the AUC.
Veronica Murguia
Venture Partner
Ecosystem builder and venture development professional with over 12 years of experience, based in Dubai. Over 10 years of experience in Accelerator Program design and strategy development for government, private sector, and B-corporations in MENA & US. Active in angel investment networks and fundraising in MENA, focusing on fintech, blockchain, and Greentech. Specializes in sustainability and impact design and facilitation for global innovation programs.
Yahya Hossam
Business Analyst
Yahya is a dynamic and accomplished professional with a diverse background in Business Development, Entrepreneurship, and Sales Team Leadership. In his role as the Co-founder and Head of Business Development at Career180, he showcased consistent excellence by leading teams, establishing impactful partnerships with NGOs and governmental bodies, and overseeing the onboarding of 1500 corporate clients. As the Managing Partner, Yahya demonstrated financial acumen by creating compelling pitch decks for investment purposes and conducting due diligence procedures. His versatility extends to event management, where he successfully organized high-profile events. Beyond corporate roles, Yahya co-founded Freelance Yard, a startup dedicated to freelance services, demonstrating his skills in market research, client account management, and strategic partnerships. With a solid foundation in Business Development and effective leadership abilities, Yahya is well-positioned to drive growth and innovation in any professional setting.
Dalia Sarwat

Dalia is a serial fundraiser played a pivotal role in the establishment of the Investment arm of American University in Egypt. Now she is based in Scotland and build an ecosystem for investors as Admission and External Relations Manager at El Maktoum college.
Manages her family business on retailing and FMCG industry across Egypt and MENA region.
She is an angel investor supporting the retailing startups who pave the way for disrupting this industry.
